Eastern North America Investment Department
Ivanhoé Cambridge’s Eastern North America Investment Department initiates and manages all office investment transactions of its real estate portfolio. This team is committed to identifying investment opportunities likely to generate stable, long-term returns for the Company and to continuously enhancing its portfolio to cover major North American eastern markets.
Specific accountabilities:
In this role, you will provide high level support to team members during all investment projects.  You will produce analysis, including in deep financial analysis, of potential acquisitions or dispositions for office building assets of the designated region. You will perform underwriting and screening of investment projects and will provide adequate recommendations. In liaison with internal and external professionals, you will be responsible for coordinating transactions activities.  Actively involved in due diligence processes, you will also have a significant contribution in the preparation of executive reports and presentations provided to  Management, Investment Committee, Board of Directors, etc.
Key requirements
  •  Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting and/or real estate management;
  • Professional designation is an asset;
  • Five to eight years of related experience in financial analysis and real estate transaction;
  • In-deep knowledge of the commercial real estate market;
  • Availability to travel locally and internationally with little advance notice;
  • Availability to work flexible hours;
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Fluently bilingual (French and English, written and spoken) with good writing skills;
  • Advanced knowledge of Argus, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Detailed oriented and meticulous, self-starter, dynamic and strong inter-personal skills.
