Eastern North-America Investment department
Ivanhoé Cambridge’s Eastern North-America Investment department initiates and manages all investment transactions of its real estate portfolio. This team is committed to identifying investment opportunities likely to generate stable, long-term returns for the Company and to continuously enhancing its portfolio to cover major North American eastern markets.
Specific Accountabilities
We are currently recruiting for an analyst, Investments for Ivanhoé Cambridge’s Eastern North-America Investment Department.  
In a support role to the team members, you will produce preliminary analysis, including in deep financial analysis, of potential acquisitions or dispositions for commercial and office building assets of the designated region. You will be responsible for gathering all proper information on assets and markets from brokers and sellers, as well as from internal services in order to analyze investment proposals. On an ongoing basis, you will review various documentations and make adjustments on preliminary analysis and will produce an up-to-date report on the asset’s performance. You will be involved in the preparation of investment proposal presentations/reports for Management, Investment Committee, Board of Directors, etc.
Key requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting and/or real estate management;
  • Professional designation such as CA or CFA is an asset;
  • Two to three years of related experience in financial analysis;
  • Knowledge of the commercial real estate market is an asset;
  • Fluently bilingual (French and English, written and spoken) with good writing skills;
  • Availability to travel locally and internationally with little advance notice;
  • Availability to work flexible hours;
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, Knowledge of Argus is a strong asset;
  • Detailed oriented and meticulous, self-starter, dynamic and outgoing.
