The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing and administering various IT infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet established goals and are delivered on time and on budget. Duties include setting up project management teams, coordinating with various team members, defining project objectives and scopes, and tracking deliverables, budgets and schedules. This Project Manager position is  part of the Infrastructure and Operations team, which oversees the planning and implementation of the Company’s IT infrastructure initiatives in a multi-site context on a national and international scale. This team carry out roughly 50 major projects to fruition every year.
The Project Manager responsibilities will include:
  • Define project objectives and the scope of deliverables, in conjunction with various stakeholders.
  • Develop project plans.
  • Define and manage work and budgets for various initiatives assigned to him/her.
  • Facilitate project execution and interpersonal relations among project teams.
  • Produce and present follow-up and status reports.
Key requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology.
  • PMP certification an asset.
  • Five years of relevant experience in IT project management, including three as a project manager.
  • Proven experience in personnel management.
  • Solid knowledge of project management programs (e.g., MS Project).
  • Self-motivated and a team player; proven collaborative and facilitation skills; a keen analytical and integrative mind.
