Specific accountabilities:
The Primary function of this position will be to increase the miscellaneous income budget at your assigned centres through Specialty Leasing and local Partnership programs and seek opportunities to maximize revenues, ensuring that the revenues are in keeping with the centre’s brand identifies.  


  •  Lease the MRU program;
  • Source and lease temporary kiosks;
  • Source and lease temporary in-line or pop-up store locations;
  • Source and secure centre focussed partnership opportunities;
  • Manage day to day relationships with select National Partners and provide on-site support to National Partners to ensure that events run smoothly;
  • Other innovative and revenue producing uses.


Equal emphasis should be placed on both the revenue and the quality of the products and presentation within the centres. Other responsibilities include, but not limited to: research of trends for both retail uses and merchandising techniques; coordination of displays (set ups and takedowns), monitoring of displays and ensuring contract compliance, developing new temporary outdoor programs in appropriate centres and developing opportunities and partnerships for local based businesses. You will liaise at the shopping Centre level for National Partnership deals.  You will also be responsible for ensuring that the budgets of the Partnership programs are met, for forecasting revenues and implementing both National and Local programs at the centre level.


Key requirements

A College Diploma and 2 to 3 years industry related experience is preferred. The position is ideally suited for a self-directed, self-confident individual who is achievement oriented. You have the proven ability to develop innovative and creative uses of the common-area of the centres and make those concepts happen. You are persistent and entrepreneurial in your approach to generating revenue. You possess excellent communication, organizational and negotiation skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint and bilingualism both oral and written. Finally, the incumbent must possess a driver's license and a car given the frequent travel required for these functions.
