Specific accountabilities:
The role is to assist the Senior Construction Manager and the main duties include:
  • Answering phones, directing calls, taking messages for site personnel;
  • Coordinating incoming mail and drawings, filing and organizing construction documents, Recording minutes and typing meeting minutes;
  • Assisting the Senior Construction Manager with email management, document management and related spread-sheets for project Site Instructions;
  • Change Order tracking;
  • Tenant Coordination status reports and related emails;
  • Other office management duties will include tracking invoicing, ordering and organizing office supplies, and general office management and set up.             
Key requirements 
  • Minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent;
  • 2 to 4 years’ administrative experience in a high volume;
  • Team oriented individual;
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented, with exceptional organizational and administrative skills along with the ability to multitask and interact with several other departments within the organization;
  • Excellent computer skills in MS Word, Excel and Outlook are required;
  • A background in property management, design or construction is an asset;
  • This is a construction environment and experience in this type of a setting is an asset.
** On site working conditions will be a site trailer environment until such time that permanent office is available.
** Any safety related clothing/equipment is provided by the employer.
