This position is Metropolis at Metrotown based. The candidate will report to the Director, Metrotown Properties.  This position is primarily responsible for:
  • MRU program;
  • Temporary kiosks;
  • Temporary in-line leasing;
  • Local partnership deals; 
  • Other innovative uses.
 
Equal emphasis should be placed on both the revenue and the quality of the products and presentation within the centres.  Other responsibilities include, but not limited to: budgeting and forecasting, research of trends for both retail uses and merchandising techniques; coordination of displays (setups and takedowns), monitoring of displays, ensuring contract compliance. This position oversees the Specialty Leasing Coordinator.
 
 
Key requirements
  • A post-secondary education or industry related experience is preferred.
  • Be a self-directed, self-confident individual who is achievement oriented. 
  • Ability to develop innovative and creative uses of the common-area of the centres and make those concepts happen. 
  • Be someone who is persistent and entrepreneurial in its approach to generating revenue.
  • Possess excellent communication, organizational and negotiation skills.
  • Computer skills utilizing Word and Excel.
